Eichhof Akademie is located in the southwest of Berlin and combines species-appropriate horse keeping with first-class training conditions — in a personal, family atmosphere. Professional arenas with ebb-and-flow footing, an indoor arena and a generous jumping field provide ideal sporting conditions.
Spacious, well-aired stalls, extensive pastures and beautiful hacking country with sandy trails free of road traffic make Eichhof Akademie a place where horses and riders alike feel at home. We place great emphasis on individual care for every horse and a harmonious atmosphere across the entire facility.
Stall housing
Stalls
35 spacious stalls (about 4 x 4 m) with shavings bedding. All stalls are bright, well-ventilated and carefully mucked out daily.
Every stall horse gets daily pasture or paddock turnout from 7:30 to 15:30, plus hay and concentrated feed. An evening check around 20:00 ensures your horse is well looked after around the clock.
Group housing
Open stables
Our four open stables provide a species-appropriate home in small, harmonious herds — separated by geldings and mares. The generous run-out areas and hay racks with hay ad libitum ensure well-being around the clock.
The open stables are ideal for young horses or horses that should be kept in a group. In winter the horses stay in their large open-stable paddock, in summer they spend half the day on pasture. Group structures are carefully composed to ensure a harmonious herd dynamic.
Training & sport
Training conditions
Our riders have access to professionally maintained arenas for year-round training:
- ▸ Dressage arena (20 x 60 m) — with ebb-and-flow footing
- ▸ Indoor arena (20 x 40 m) — with ebb-and-flow footing
- ▸ Second dressage arena (20 x 55 m)
- ▸ Two round pens — for lungeing and free work
- ▸ Jumping field (approx. 1 hectare) — turf with permanent obstacle equipment
All arenas are regularly maintained and provide optimal training conditions in every season.
Pastures & paddocks
Daily turnout
All horses get daily turnout from 7:30 to 15:30. In winter they spend the day on our paddocks. In summer the horses spend half the day on the paddocks and half the day on our extensive pastures.
Pastures and paddocks are securely fenced and regularly inspected — including fence checks, looking for ground holes and removing toxic plants or foreign objects.

Hacking
Right from the academy, the trails lead into beautiful hacking country. Sandy trails free of road traffic offer ideal conditions for relaxed rides through woods and across fields — for hours, without crossing a single road.
Whether a relaxed walk-out or sporty cross-country training — the varied landscape offers the right terrain for every demand. Sandy forest tracks, open field paths and unspoilt trails provide variety on every ride.

Good riding starts with a fit rider. At Eichhof Akademie we offer our riders special opportunities to stay in top physical shape.

Stay overnight
Holiday apartment at the Eichhof
For clinic participants, viewing guests or visitors who want to enjoy the calm of the Eichhof, we offer a cosy holiday apartment — directly above the broodmares and foals.
The apartment is fully equipped and provides the perfect base for a relaxed stay close to nature and close to your horse.
